Perytons analyzers support the standard 802.15.4/ZigBee protocol including its profiles. Additionally, the analyzers support other 802.15.4 based protocols like 6LoWPAN and RF4CE.

The Digi XBee modules can run two different protocol stacks:

1. Standard ZigBee

2. A proprietary DigiMesh protocol.

If you use the standard ZigBee, you can use the standard Perytons Analyzer.

If you the Digi modules in the DigiMesh mode, Perytons Support can provide a plug-in that allows you to decode the packets – see an example of a decoded packet – below.

The plug-in skips the two bytes as suggested by Digi.

You may send Perytons the Product Key of your installation (Help/Activation Product) and receive a temporary activation code and a plug-in to decode and analyze the DigiMesh data.
