Perytons
announced today an enhanced version of it’s multi-antenna
multi-channel 802.15.4/ZigBee analyzer based on Integration Associates
EZLink
802.15.4 USB dongles.
The Perytons
analyzer provides the capability to analyze and
track multiple network sessions that coincide in time in a user
friendly
manner. It enables developers to significantly shorten development and
integration time and an essential tool for on site debugging where
various
devices are operating in the same unlicensed band.
The
multi-channel analyzer provides a complete, ready-to-use
solution for analyzing complex system in a simple and reliable manner.
Using multiple
Integration USB dongles as RF/PHY front-end, Perytons introduce the
first
analyzer for 802.15.4/ZigBee that utilizes antenna diversity for
improved
sensitivity and fidelity. Antenna diversity may reduce outdoor packet
loss by
order of magnitude, and up to two orders of magnitude in an indoor
environment.

protocol analyzer for the IEEE® 802.15.4 wireless protocol. The
Perytons15.4™analyzer provides a complete analysis toolbox for the
802.15.4™ PHY and MAC layers.

Perytons15.4™ analyzer provides the capability to analyze and track
multiple network sessions that coincide in time. Results are presented
on a user-friendly two-dimensional
Time-Frequency view. The analyzer is capable of sorting sessions by
frequency, PAN ID, or request-reply association. In addition to the
Time-Frequency view, extensive message analysis toolbox provides
message properties display showing field values description and
meaning.
