Our Protocol Analyzers are used by professionals for capturing and analyzing IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, 6LoWPAN, RF4CE, Thread, Bluetooth Smart, PLC-PRIME, G3-PLC and other wireless and wire-line traffic.

The standalone Perytons Analyzers models include analysis tools and add-ons for a variety of communication protocol groups.

For each of these product lines there are basic & advanced models as well as add-ons that allow matching available budgets and needs yet enable upgrades as requirements and demands grow.

Following is a summary selection guide of the different models and options to help you chose the best analyzer for your needs:

ZigBee, IEEE 802.15.4, Thread - Models
Basic models
  • Peryton-VView and analyze only – no capturing capabilities.
    This model is usually used in the back-office for analyzing files previously captured by other Perytons Protocol Analyzer models such as Peryton-S, D or the multichannel Mx models
  • Peryton-SSingle channel (includes 1 x USB dongle for standard 802.15.4 2.4GHz networks)
  • Peryton-DSingle channel, antenna diversity (includes 2 x USB dongles for standard 802.15.4 2.4GHz)
  • Peryton-SGSingle channel (includes 1 x USB dongle for Sub 1 GHz networks.
    There are 2 flavors of the Peryton-SG model: for standard 802.15.4 Sub 1 GHz networks and for non-standard Sub 1 GHz networks (each include a suitable front-end for the captured network)
  • Peryton-M4, M7 and M16Multi-channel simultaneous capture – up to 4, 7 or all 16 channels (includes 4, 7 or 17 x USB dongles for standard 802.15.4 2.4GHz plus USB hub)
    The Perytons multi-channel models allow using diversity mode (in which case a smaller number of channels can be captured simultaneously). They also include a special time-sync. mechanism to ensure messages’ inter-channel high time-stamp accuracy

  • Peryton-Anywhere – Monitoring and analysis of remote networks using 802.15.4 based protocols.
    Includes 1 x Peryton-Gateway with Ethernet cable and power supply (does not include front-end). Currently available for single front-end (single USB dongle, single USB connected module) models. Option to connect using a WiFi modem is available
  • Peryton-Scripting – Monitoring, Statistics and Scripts definition tool for Perytons Protocol Analyzers
  • Peryton-Traffic Generator (TG) – Message creating, editing, saving into ANL files and traffic generation tool for Perytons Protocol Analyzers – incl. 1 x USB dongle. Requires connection to a separate USB port on the target PC
  • Peryton-SDK (Software Development Kit)Protocols customization tool for Perytons Protocol Analyzers (requires having a Visual Studio development environment)
Bluetooth Smart - Models
Basic models

    This model is usually used in the back-office for analyzing files previously captured by other Perytons Bluetooth Smart Protocol Analyzer models such as Peryton-Smart or Peryton-Smart3
  • Peryton-SmartSingle dongle Bluetooth Smart analyzer (includes 1 x USB dongle with sniffer FW)
  • Peryton-Smart3Three dongles Bluetooth Smart analyzer (includes 3 x USB dongles with sniffer FW + 1 x USB dongle with standard FW (used for time sync purposes) + a suitable USB Hub)

  • Peryton-PLC for PRIME – PLC (Power Line Communications) analyzer for PLC-PRIME protocol (PoweRline Intelligent Metering Evolution), includes 1 x front-end module for capturing PLC PRIME
  • Peryton-PLC for G3 – PLC (Power Line Communications) analyzer for G3-PLC protocol (includes 1 x front-end module for capturing G3-PLC data)
