Analyzing data captured with other analyzers

Data captured by other analyzer vendors and stored in one of the ZigBee endorsed file formats used by certification entities (extension .DCF and .PCAP) can be loaded and analyzed also with the Perytons™ Protocol Analyzer.
Additionally an on-line file converter service for these as well as additional file formats is available at http://www.perytons.com/ZigBee/file-converter/.

The file formats supported by the file converter are:

.DCF files captured by the Daintree SNA analyzer

.PSD files captured by the TI sniffer

.PCAP files captured by WireShark, either directly (native 802.15.4), or encapsulated in Ethernet packets.
Note: Two types of PCAP file are supported. One holding MAC15.4 messages and one holding IP messages for 6LoWPAN/ZigBee IP application level analysis. In the second case, the analyzer will replace the Ethernet header by dummy MAC and 6LoWPAN headers.

.ISD files captured by Ember (now SiLabs) tools

Note: .DCF or .PCAP files (unlike .ANL files) may not contain some information that is needed to fully analyze the captured data (e.g. .PCAP files do not include the encryption keys used to decipher the captured data besides of those exchanged during capture, .DCF files will not get updated with new Security Keys, .DCF files can't be used for Traffic Generation or batch operation). In such case the user may need to load such missing information manually into the analyzer.
If using a non .ANL capture file format, the user will be given the option to save such files into the .ANL format.
